Rally in the Dells of Wisconsin
Get ready for the summer DRVC rally at the waterpark and family vacation capital of the world, Wisconsin Dells. The city takes its name from the Dells of the Wisconsin River, a scenic, glacially formed gorge that features striking sand- stone formations along the banks of the Wisconsin River. Together with the nearby village of Lake Delton, the city forms an area known as “the Dells,” a popular Midwestern summer vacation venue of waterparks, live entertainment, restaurants, theaters, miniature golf, and river tours as well as a myriad of places to shop.
The Dells have historically attracted tourists because of it’s scenic beauty. In fact, the first DUKW (amphibious trucks
of World War II vin- tage) tours were begun here before the 1950s. Today, Dells Duck Tours, Inc. continues the duck tour tradition.
Lake Delton, Wisconsin Dells’s sister city to the south, is where “Rally in the Dells” will be held at Country Lake Roads Motor Home and RV Park. The rally will officially begin on Sunday, July 12, and close on Friday morning, July 17. Early arrivals as well as those desiring to leave
