Welcome to this issue of Travelore, the official publication of the Diesel RV Club. This edition is an electronic only version that is distributed via email in two formats: PDF that can be read using the Adobe reader and the other that can be viewed in the new Flip Book format. These quar- terly issues of Travelore are just a
small part of the value that comes with membership in the Diesel RV Club and FMCA.
We were reminded of the importance of FMCAssist earlier this year when one of our member families was involved in an accident that totally destroyed their motorhome
and requiring transport by air and ground ambulances to nearby hospitals. FMCAssist took care of the costs associ- ated with getting them to needed medical care and back to their home following release from the hospital. FMCAssist is a “free” benefit of your FMCA membership.
If you do not yet have your FMCAssist ID card do the fol- lowing in the internet browser of your choice.
1. Go http://www.fmca.com and log in to your account (if you’ve never created an online account you will need to do so).
2. Under the Benefits tab in the navigation bar select FMCAssist.
3. Scroll down until you see the wording, FMCAssist Emergency Medical Evacuation and Travel Assistance Plan, under the two sliding images.
4. Click on “Print FMCAssist member I.D. card” for your card to be downloaded to your computer or device for printing.
We are looking forward to the Rally in the Dells, to be held July 12 – 17 at Country Roads RV & Motorhome Park, Lake Delton, WI. Part of the fun of a rally is getting there and the Travel Wisconsin app (available for both Android and iPhone/iPad) provides visitors and residents with
an “on-the-go” resource that, when your device’s GPS is enabled, will help you find the nearest attractions and events. Additional information can be found by visiting www.travelwisconsin.com. Also, there are several technical sessions during the Rally, all of which members are free to
attend without registering for the Rally. While these ses- sions are available at no charge to all members, we do ask that you let us know your plan to attend so we can ensure there will be a seat for you.
For those of you planning to attend FMCA’s 92nd Escape to Wisconsin Family Reunion and Motorhome Showcase in Madison, Wisconsin July 29, to August 1, 2015, here are the times of seminars and meetings related to the Chapter:

The Chapter will have a table located at the back of both (Caterpillar and Cummins) technical seminars – stop by and see us. Also, we hope you will be able to join us at the annual business meeting at 5:00 P.M. As usual, pizza will be served at the end of the meeting and we’ll adjourn early enough so everyone can attend evening entertainment.
