2017 Spring FMCA Family Reunion will be held in Chan- dler, AZ March 7-10, 2017. Diesel RV Club will hold its spring, 2017 rally February 26th to March 3rd. We have 30 sites at a cost of $380- per coach couple.
The Membership Report shows 503 members, 482 regular and 21 forum plus. Of those, 73 regular and 7 forum plus are renewal overdue. We have added 94 new members in the past year. We have offered 828, free one-year member- ships in the last year of which 34 accepted.
Technical Report shows 890,000 page views on the Club’s technical forum in 2015.
National Director reports FMCA dues will increase $10 effective October 1, 2016. The increase is primarily driven by the increased cost of FMCAssist. FMCA finally seems to be turning the corner on membership. From a highpoint
in 2004 of 129,189 members to July 2016’s ending total of 70,539, this past month was the first that showed a net increase since 2005. We gained 344 members. FMCA will be advertising on RVillage under the advice of its market- ing consultant, Marketing Corporation of America, as part of its aggressive approach of capturing new members.
New Business
The Bylaws & Standing Rules Update Committee posted its report. After discussion, the report’s recommendations were accepted and members approved the amendment of Chapter Bylaws & Standing Rules as posted.
Nominating Committee presented its slate of officers for two-year terms and submitted a motion that the Standing Rules be suspended so that the election could take place since there were no candidates for some offices. The Nomi-
