March 14, Perry, Georgia
a poker run and an opportunity to visit local attractions including historic Andersonville Prison.
Speaking of bean bag baseball, this once again proved
to be a popular but competitive event. Luck shined on a team of novices, Newbies with Frosting on Top, as they won the championship game. Gary and Glenda Milner (Gary is FMCA Midwest Area VP) helped liven up the games. Bob Weithofer, INTO Vice President, played on one of the teams while his wife Patricia provided support from the bleachers. Bob and Pat are active in the Habi- tat for Humanity Chapter where they are both officers. Cheers could be heard as fans encouraged players as they “rounded the bases.”
As was evidenced by participant surveys, all of the techni- cal sessions and craft activities were given high marks. We
love it when the overall ranking says “great value for the money” and “more than we expected.”
If you’ve never attended a rally, you should plan to get to one soon. For sure, you’ll be welcomed into the Family.
