Filter Cross Reference Website
« on: March 12, 2015, 12:56:31 PM »
Because many times it is very difficult to verify that you have the correct filters (micron ratings) from the filter manufacturer's websites, here is a suggestion.

Go to the Wix Cross-reference site: http://www.wixfilters.com/Lookup/filterlookup.aspx

Enter any competitor's filter number.  Example: Fleetguard FS1022

Here is what it pulls up:

Wix Part Number:   33422
Wix UPC Number:   765809334229
Principle Application:   Various Cummins Engines - Has drain + sensor port - this sensor port is oval shaped (M14 x 2.0) - if square shaped sensor port required, use 33604
    Applications
Style:   Spin-On Fuel/Water Separator Filter
Service:   Fuel
Type:
Media:
Height:   9.378
Outer Diameter Top:   3.657
Outer Diameter Bottom:   Closed:
Thread Size:   1-14
Nominal Micron Rating:   2

Brett: Great information but Wix and Fleetguard use a different method for micron ratings. Wix is no match for FG , Cat or Donaldson.
