c10 cat 2000 block heater

Hi,the breaker feeding block has been triping as soon as it is turn on.I have not open engine hatch yet to look for it,and to remove feed tp heater to see if it the heater or wireing goin to it.Where is the heater located on the c10 ,and how the best way to change it,how much coolent will be lost.Thanks Charles 2000 magna

Sorry, Charles, I have not worked on a C10 block heater.

Should be easy to locate by following the 120 VAC cord from outlet/junction box to the block heater.  Most are in the water jacket, low in the block.  If so, plan on replacing it when you change coolant.

Thanks Brett,i have heard that a thousand times [sorry charlie ]in my life time,when i get the time i will trace the 120 volt wireing,thanks anyway Charles
