2006 Winnebago journey 3ft.do I have to remove the rear grill to replace the f/w filter.also should I fill the new filter with fuel befor installing

Others with the same coach can answer your accessibility question.

As far as pre-filling the fuel filter, the correct procedure depends COMPLETELY on whether you have the Caterpillar secondary fuel filter with MANUAL PRIMER PUMP.

If you do have that secondary, install both filters dry and use the manual primer pump to prime.

If not, you need to prefill and do a QUICK change.  Preferable to have the level of fuel in the tank at or above the level of the filter head.  Yes, fuel will run out as you change the filter, but that is much better than fuel running back to the tank, which would leave you with 30+ feel of air in the fuel line.
