Allison MD3060 ATF
« on: November 13, 2017, 05:20:43 PM »
I know Allison currently recommends only use of TES-295 fluid, but my MD3060 (built 1997) has never had Transynd in it, and I do not know what Allison's previous recommendation was (before they came out with Transynd).  Can someone tell me what is still on the market that was previously recommended by Allison?  With annual mileage of around 10,000 miles, I will be probably be happy with the more frequent changes.

I would go with Transynd. They say it takes 2 changes before you can go to the longer change interval. I  monitor both my engine and transmission using oil analysis.
