Nominating Committee Report
In accordance with the By-laws, Diesel RV Club will
hold elections for officers at the Annual Business Meet- ing during this summer’s FMCA Family Reunion and Motorhome Showcase in West Springfield, MA. The fol- lowing positions will be open for election this summer: President, Secretary, VP Rally Coordinator, VP Technical, and National Director. In addition, three to five members will be elected for the 2017 Nominating Committee. The meeting will be held in Seminar 8 at the Eastern States Exhibition on Friday at 5:00 pm, August 5, 2016.
The Nominating Committee is placing the following slate of candidates forward for the Club’s consideration:
• President – The Committee is still searching for a candidate. Nominations may be made from the floor.
• Secretary - Conny Culver
• VP Rally Coordinator, - The Committee is still in
search of a candidate. Nominations may be made
from the floor.
• VP Technical, Brett Wolfe, Incumbent
• National Director, Ken Carpenter, Incumbent
Per Robert’s Rules of Order and our By-laws, nominations will be accepted from the floor for all of the above posi- tions. Nominations of Club members who are willing to serve on the Nominating Committee will only be taken from the floor. Nominating Committee members serve a one-year term and are responsible for recommending a slate of candidates prior to next summer’s election.
Members of the 2016 Nominating Committee include: Rod Kenly, Chair, Emily Brouilette, Susan Gerrity, Stan Kiefer, and Don Strums.
