July Rally in Bremen
Entertainment on Monday evening was the Heartland Country Cloggers. The members of the quick-footed group come from a radius of 100 miles and were fascinating.
For the free time on July 4th and 5th, several chose to
do the road rally. Rally check points included Rentown Country Store (an Amish grocery) near Bremen, Nap- panee’s Coppes Commons (a building built in 1878 and at one time housed the best cabinet making shop in the US), Amish Acres (an 80-acre Older Order Amish farm homesteaded in 1873), Yoder Popcorn in Shipshewana, the Menno-Hof Museum where we learned the differ- ences between the Hutterites, Mennonites and Amish, the Shipshewana Flea Market and the amazing Wakarusa Dime Store.
For the Photo Contest at this Rally, individuals were encouraged to have their own pictures printed. The top three winners were each given a $25.00 gift card.
Two different crafts were provided for the participants. Small wooden barn quilts were made on Wednesday and on Thursday memory wire bracelets were made.

Results of FMCA Board Meeting
With this definition of a recreational vehicle, the Diesel RV Club voted to support the proposal. However, any changes to bylaws remain to be approved using DRVC processes.
New Business
The following Process and Procedure amendment was made because some members felt that most chapters would adopt the “management practices” employed by the Executive Board although the board insisted that the chapters do not have to. This is to clarify that stipulation.
The Constitution Committee and Policy and Procedure Committee will review the chapter bylaws format to clarify conformity to the Constitution, Bylaws, and Policies & Procedures of FMCA. As to what is mandatory, recom- mended, and permissible deviations and give concrete examples of such.
Continuing with our tradition, 50-50 tickets were sold with the proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club of Bremen.
During Breakfast on Friday morning, the clouds in
the west looked very dark. Some storm warnings forecasted. As a result, those planning to leave after breakfast hastily took some food and got things together just prior to the down pour that did hit.
It rained until about 2:00
p.m. causing us to receive
about five inches of the rain
and strong winds. Water was everywhere since the camp- ground was mainly flat but those remaining weathered well. Due to the unexpected weather event, a few extended their stay at the campground an extra day. Others
made their way on to the FMCA Family Reunion and Motorhome Showcase which followed the Bremen rally.

One of the craft projects was painting a quilt block on a square of wood.
